Well, here we are. It’s 2009, a new year, a new month and a new day. Every time I turn, I see commercials for ‘Resolutions’ from going to the gym to dieting. Have you made resolutions for this year? What are you going to ‘try’ to do for 2009? I read a quote by Lester Levenson (founder of The Sedona Method) that read “Trying is wanting approval for something that you have no intention of doing” and it made me think. What resolutions have I ‘tried’ to realize in the past as well as now? How finally did I get to where I am? There’s stress everywhere from the economy to just surviving the daily ‘rat race’ of rushing to work, rushing home and trying to spend time with the family. We stay up as late as we can, wake up early to then repeat the whole cycle again the very next day. There’s a weekly countdown of how soon will Friday get here again. That painful passage of time before the weekend finally gets here. It’s FRIIIDAAAY!!! Can any of you relate? Read the rest of this entry »

I have always had a dream. Similarly to Dr. Martin Luther King. I have always judged those around me by the content of their character. I grew up in the ‘hood’ and my options were slim.
